Reis returned just in time

"We’ve got to be smart and take care of ourselves. We are running low right now and we are filling in players where we can and just filling the gaps. We just need to be smart and take care of ourselves and get ready for the end … It’s going to be tough for us." -08/30/08 NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION GOALKEEPER MATT REIS

Revs go Global

No Rest for the Revs
They Keep Busy with Another Tournament

"The big problem we were always going to have was what we had left in our legs. We saw today that when Joe Public got out ahead of us, with the schedule we've had and the travel we've had, it's been taken out of us. Certainly, we're pleased to only lose 2-1. Joe Public had a couple of chances, but we had a couple of chances, as well. So we've given ourselves a chance."-08/26/08 HEAD COACH STEVE NICOL

Revs Manage to Hang on

"I think for an hour today we were great we passed the ball real well and the travelling caught up with us the last half hour of the game"- 08/23/08 REVS HEAD COACH STEVE NICOL

"Its tough man, it’s a lot tougher than it looks, it’s a tough place to play, and it’s a good atmosphere you know we were fortunate to get that first goal, and unfortunate to not score that goal in the 90th minute, but we definitely absorbed some pressure there. But we’ll take a point up here because it’s a tough place to play."-08/23/08 REVS DEFENDER MICHAEL PARKHURST

"Obviously, we’re a little disappointed not getting the victory, we definitely had the better run of play early on but to get a result on the road in a hostile place like this is big."-08/23/08 REVS FORWARD TAYLOR TWELLMAN

Mixed Emotions with Revolution Win

That Card is a Heap of Something...

(AP Photo)
Revs lose Jay Heaps for Finals.
Skirmish looked similar to Houston's post game scuffle with Pachuca maybe the Primera División should learn to lose gracefully.

Cooler Heads Should Have Prevailed?
"The referee can only give yellows and reds; he can’t stop people from losing their discipline. Toward the end of the game there were two guys sent off and numerous yellows. The referee can only do so much - the players have to discipline themselves as well and they lost their discipline." -Revolution Head Coach Steve Nicol 07/30/08

Not Helping the Situation
"...The one thing that really disappointed me was that there was a member of their staff on the field throwing punches and that is unacceptable. That is the only thing I’ll say about that." -Revolution Head Coach Steve Nicol 07/30/08

Welcome to Revolution Fans!

We moved from our old site for a variety of reasons. Hopefully this new address will be easier to use and update. The old site will be kept for discussion purposes however, and will be back up and running ASAP.

I know I missed a few important dates from my last post to today, I will try to cover as much as I can.

Here's archived news from the last site.
